DisplayPort is a 20 pin connector similar to HDMI but designed to replace DVIVGA. The standard was put forward by VESA to define a new royalty free audiovideo connection. DisplayPort is very simple to use and makes connecting your PC to your DisplayPort enabled display very easy.
